New Delhi: CBSE CTET Result 2026 is one of the most awaited updates for lakhs of candidates across India. As per the latest indication from the Central Board of Secondary Education, the result of the February session is expected to be declared by the end of this month. However, speculation is rising among candidates about whether the result could be released earlier, even today.
Result Date: What Has CBSE Said?
According to official communication, CBSE has already hinted that the CTET 2026 result (CTET Result Date) will be published towards the end of March 2026. While there is no confirmed date yet, candidates are advised to stay alert as the result can be released anytime without prior notice.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was conducted on 7th and 8th February 2026, and since then, candidates have been eagerly waiting for the final outcome.
Where to Check CTET Result 2026?
Once released, candidates will be able to check their result online through the official portal –
- Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in
- Click on the “CTET Result 2026” link (Result Link)
- Enter login details like roll number
- View and download your scorecard
It is recommended to keep a printed copy of the result for future use.
Answer Key Objection Process Completed
CBSE had already released the Provisional Answer Key (Answer Key PDF) earlier. Candidates were allowed to raise objections until March 15, 2026, by paying a fee of ₹1000 per question.
If any challenge submitted by candidates is found valid by subject experts, necessary corrections will be made in the final answer key. In such cases, the objection fee will be refunded to the candidate’s bank account. However, the board has clearly stated that its decision will be final, and no further correspondence will be entertained.
Passing Criteria, How Much Score is Required?
To qualify the CTET exam, candidates must score at least 60% marks (Qualifying Marks). Those who meet or exceed this cutoff will be considered CTET qualified.
- Paper 1: For teaching Classes I to V
- Paper 2: For teaching Classes VI to VIII
Qualifying CTET does not guarantee a job but makes candidates eligible to apply for teaching positions.
Validity and Importance of CTET Certificate
A major advantage of clearing CTET is that the certificate remains valid for lifetime (Lifetime Validity). This opens doors for candidates to apply in top institutions like –
- Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)
- Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS)
- Army Public Schools
- State Government Teaching Jobs
However, candidates must still clear respective recruitment processes, including exams or interviews, to secure a teaching job.
Digital Marksheet on DigiLocker
After the declaration of results, CBSE will also upload digital mark sheets and eligibility certificates (Digital Certificate) on DigiLocker. Candidates can access their documents securely using their registered mobile number.
With the month nearing its end, the release of CTET Result 2026 (Latest Update) is expected very soon. Candidates should regularly check the official website and avoid relying on unofficial sources or rumors. The final result will determine eligibility for teaching opportunities across India, making it a crucial milestone for aspirants.
Stay tuned for the official announcement, as the result may be released anytime.
